Fillers can be used on the following areas:
Cheeks: Signs of ageing can manifest through sunken and saggy cheeks which affect the smile and give you a tired look overall. Fillers are also known as a ‘Liquid Facelift’ and are often used to add volume and fullness to the cheeks to achieve a younger complexion.
Chin: Say goodbye to your rounded face and get the shape you desire with a chin filler. This helps accentuate the shape you are looking for and helps your chin stand out more to achieve that coveted V-shape. This is a subtle change that causes easily noticeable improvements to your face.
Lips: Lips play a big part in the overall appearance of your face, and a filler can increase the shape and fullness of your lips while leaving those thin lips behind.
Nose: Fillers can achieve just about anything when it comes to your nose, and can provide anything from volume to lift. You can improve the prominence of your nose without the need for surgery.
What are nose fillers?
A filler product – hyaluronic acid e.g.Restyl, calcium hydroxyapatite e.g. Radiesse or polycaprolactone e.g. Ellanse – can be used as a nose bridge and tip augmentation with just one small injection point.
At consultation, one of our doctors will discuss the shape of a nose bridge that suits you and harmonizes with your other features i.e. eyes, lips, cheeks. The nose is cleaned and topical anaesthesia is applied. A small injection mark is made at the nose tip and a blunt cannula is then used to administer the filler product. The total procedure time is about 15 minutes.
The result is instant – a higher, more defined nose bridge.
After the procedure, do not apply pressure to the nose bridge for 2 weeks. Keep the area injected clean, to prevent any infection. Avoid activities that can potentially put forceful pressure onto your nose e.g. boxing, gymnastics.
Your doctor may schedule a follow-up, touch-up session to ensure that your new nose bridge shape stays well defined.
Depending on the type of filler used, this option of non-surgical rhinoplasty can last 6 months to 2 years.
